ETAL tells a story through concepts and designs inspired by the human condition, and - as an emerging Berlin-based slow fashion brand - we focus on creating multifunctional clothing that is socially and environmentally conscious.




Et al.

Our name, derived from the Latin phrase et al., (meaning ‘and others’), is all about empowering human connections through collaboration and inclusivity. We seek to shorten the metaphorical distances between us.





Dot Line Dot

The ETAL logo — our easily identifiable · | · — is a symbol created as a reference point to represent the mutual connection between different topics and serve as a spectrum for a singular topic. It defines the scope in which we explore each collection’s topics. The line, being the central idea, acts as a connecting counterpoint to the dots, distinctly different yet harmoniously related concepts. It, on the whole, serves as a symbolic guide for the design elements throughout our company.

Each of our collections focus on and explore an aspect of the human condition — characteristics or events essential to the shared human existence. Despite our many individual differences, we all share similar collective experiences. Our goal is to understand and bring awareness to these — positive and negative — experiences; and, ultimately, to leave this world better than we found it.
